4 - STUDIES AND THEATRICAL EDUCATION

The theatrical formation of Claudia Contin Arlecchino starts from the age of 14 years old in Udine, while attending the Istituto d'Arte and at the same time takes part for three years at the Student Theatre Contest in the City of Udine directed by Rodolfo Castiglione.
In those early years she is formed and works with different professional theater companies in Udine: the Teatro all'Aria directed by Master Claudio de Maglio, the School of Art directed by Clown Gelindo La Targia with whom she also collaborates with the organization of the event Comicudine, and follows the first exhibitions of contemporary theater Teatro Contatto by the Centro Servizi e Spettacoli (CSS).
Although very young, she meets, attends and collaborates with masters of actor and figure comic-grotesque theatre, such as Gardi Hutter, Antonio Catalano, Paolo Paparotto, Paolo Rossi. In 1984 she founded in Udine her first theater company called Teatro a Specchi where she prepared her first independent performances and begins the activity of theater teaching children and young people.
Then continues her training at the School of Theater Alessandra Galante Garrone in Bologna until 1986, where she explores the Mime's and the Neutral Mask techniques according to the discipline of the Master Jacques Lecoq, and then meets the rudiments
of Commedia dell'Arte.
