7 - THE TRAGEDIA DELL'ARTE

Always engaged also in contemporary dramaturgy, the most important experiment of Claudia Contin Arlecchino is the gestural language, derived, since 1987, from the works of the Austrian painter Egon Schiele (1890-1918).
An innovative route of scenic creation that has been followed with interest, since 1989, by several Italian universities and international researchers.

This technique of physical behavior, gestual and vocal, that the actress has grown inspired by the extreme anatomy and the body expressions of the Egon Schiele's works, has been encoded and represents today the research structure of the project
Tragedy of Art.

This project, as well as defining the style of the productions and contemporary performances of Claudia Contin Arlecchino,
is now also a consolidated training technique for the actor.
